forgetting about July 4th
Why worry about July 4th, when July 5th is the beginning of les Tombées de la Nuit, the annual summer cultural festival throughout Rennes. Extra credit to anyone who takes a photo of JP Nataf before, during or after his performance in the opera house on the 6th, or in le Thabor on the 7th? Sure!!
(Super-duper extra credit for scoring his e-mail address, so that Dr. Whidden can interview him someday...)

meeting host families
Once we get to Rennes, we'll be greeted by our homestay coordinator M. Keith MARTIN at le Diapason of Université Rennes 1 (Beaulieu; we're only meeting families here, the rest of our time is at Université Rennes 2, Villejean). Host families will be there, too!!
J-21 (21 jours)!
This year's summer program is flying out 24 June, arriving Paris/CDG the morning of the 25th, and will be in Rennes by the end of the day. So much to do, so little time!
